Social Media Manager

The Ned|Lon is a real estate consulting firm offering tailored services in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and London.

The Social Media Manager at The Ned|Lon is responsible for managing and growing TNL’s social media presence on Instagram through strategic content planning, creative design, and consistent brand storytelling. This role owns the end-to-end social media process, from concept development and content creation to publishing and reporting.

Instagram is the primary platform The Ned|Lon is active on, sharing content around our services, informative content (market updates and educational posts), and social content (such as city guides). You will work closely with the team to ensure all content aligns with TNL’s brand identity and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy, Creation & Management

  • Create a monthly content calendar aligned with The Ned|Lon’s audience, branding, and business strategy.

  • Produce 6–9 social media posts and 3 Instagram stories per month (in addition to resharing posts).

  • Ensure content is a mix of static posts, carousels, and video formats.

  • Manage the full content process, including creation, scheduling, and publishing.

  • Oversee video content from concept to publication, ensuring storytelling consistency and brand alignment.

  • Edit videos for most posts where required.

  • Work closely with TNL’s contract-based video editor by preparing briefs, reviewing edits, and supporting scriptwriting and filming direction.

  • Stay up to date with emerging social media trends and identify opportunities to increase engagement.

Performance, Reporting & Ads

  • Prepare monthly performance reports covering reach, engagement, follower growth, and audience insights.

  • Identify top-performing content formats and areas for improvement.

  • Lead monthly meetings with the team to review performance and align on content for the upcoming month.

  • Plan, publish, and monitor Instagram ad campaigns via Meta Ads Manager, with a focus on engagement and clear calls to action.

Partnerships & Ad Hoc Creative Tasks

  • Support partnership content and co-branded campaigns.

  • Assist with ad hoc creative tasks, including:

    • Merchandise design

    • Partnership visuals and content

    • Website or brochure visuals when required

Requirements

  • Proven experience creating social media content from both a strategic and creative

  • perspective.

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts end-to-end.

  • Proven experience with Canva, Adobe or similar.

  • Experience with video editing for social media.

  • Strong understanding of Instagram best practices (knowledge of LinkedIn and TikTok is a plus).

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and ad hoc requests independently
